Dr. Nik Chaudhari named Unit Medical Director for Emory Decatur Hospital

Dr. Nik Chaudhari has been named the Unit Medical Director for Emory Decatur Hospital (EDH), effective on September 1, 2024, as Dr. Waldman transitions to a new role outside of Emory. 

Dr. Chaudhari has been working clinically at EDH since 2017 and is a trusted and valued member of the team.  In his new role as Unit Medical Director he will partner with the EDH ICU and executive leadership teams to help lead operations, spearhead quality initiatives, develop clinical protocols, and ensure timely access to care. Dr. Chaudhari was also recently recognized as a 2024 Palliative Care Champion.
