ECCC Educators Recognized in 2024 Educator Appreciation Day

Seven members of the Emory Critical Care Center were recognized on June 4, 2024 for Emory’s 2024 Educator Appreciation Day. More than 170 educators were nominated by peers and colleagues, and selected by the SOM Recognitions Committee. The selected honorees recognized were the following:

Austin DeBeaux, MD, Department of Anesthesiology  
Babar Fiza, MD, Department of Anesthesiology  
Nicole Herbst, MD, Department of Medicine 
Deepa Patel, MD, Department of Emergency Medicine 
Srihari Veeraraghavan, MD, Department of Medicine 

In celebration of Educator Appreciation Day, the Recognitions Committee sent out a call for nominations for educators across the school who go above and beyond the call of duty as teachers and mentors. Emory educators were nominated for their passion and skills to educate, encourage and support scholars and learners across the university.
