Inspiring Dialogue, Expanding Access

Mission

  • Inspiring Dialogue, Expanding Access (IDEA). Our mission is to create, preserve, teach, and apply knowledge in the service of humanity in the area of critical care.
  • The ECCC IDEA group is open to all who meet its high standards of academic excellence and integrity. The ECCC welcomes all (ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic, religious, national, and international backgrounds), believing that the intellectual and social energy that results from various lived experiences is critical to advancing knowledge, research, mentorship, promotion and the provision of care to the critical care community.
  • ECCC IDEA group strives to create a community characterized by respectful and mutually supportive interaction among faculty, students, staff, and the wider world.

Vision

ECCC is a healthcare community internationally recognized as an inquiry-driven, ethically engaged community, whose members embrace respect and employ creativity, critique, and collaboration in providing courageous leadership for positive transformation in the world through teaching, research, scholarship, health care, and social action. This group will inspire dialogue and expand access to our critically ill and injured patients.
